Margaret Anita Hayworth, 90, passed away Saturday, May 8, 2010.

She was born April 8, 1920, in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, to Arthur and Clara Rueffer. Margaret graduated from Glenbard Township High School in 1938. She married Donald F. Hayworth in 1950 and they raised their children and lived in Naperville until she moved to Encinitas in 1999.

During the years between Don's death and her move to California, Margaret was instrumental in running the Serendipity Resale Shop in Naperville. Margaret was a kind, loving, sweet woman. Every doctor, every friend, every acquaintance, even store owners, grew to love her and valued her bright and beautiful smile. She lived her life with grace and respect for everyone, everything. She was always thinking of something that she could do for someone.

She is survived by her son, James D. Hayworth of Longboat Key, Florida; daughter, Anita M. Hayworth of Encinitas, California; grandchildren, Todd White, Kevin Shaw, Lauren Shaw; great-grandchildren, Embrey, Sawyer, and Zaida White.

A Celebration of Life was held at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Encinitas on May 22, 2010. A graveside memorial will be held at Chapel Hill Gardens, Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois, on June 5, 2010, at 11:00 a.m.
