Mr. Weiss retired from Mueller Brass in 1987, after 35 years of employment. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Celia (Patterson) Weiss of Port Huron Township; his son and daughter-in-law, Dave (Linda) Weiss of Port Huron; his daughter and son-in-law, Linda (Greg) Hendershot of Marysville; his son and daughter-in-law, Jeff (Charlene) Weiss of Port Huron; his daughter, Sue Weiss of Port
Huron; six grandchildren, Steve, Sara, Rob, Marcy, Jaclyn and Chad; his brothers and sisters, Edith Studaker, Betty Ross, Ruth Weiss, Mary Pace, Fred Weiss, Timothy Weiss, Edward Weiss and Alex Weiss; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Sunday, March 11, 2001, in Jowett Funeral Home, 1634 Lapeer Ave. at 17th St. The Rev. Alexander Weiss, Pastor of Living Word Missionary Church in Lexington will officiate. Burial will be in Washington Township Cemetery.
