Ruby Ella (Boedeker) Frers Diebel, 84, of Pearland, Texas passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Colonial Oaks Assisted Living Center in Pearland, Texas.
Funeral Services are under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home in Shiner, Texas and will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 11:00 am at Buffington Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Barney Matocha from Trinity Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will follow at Shiner City Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Buffington Funeral Home from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
Ruby was born on September 9, 1932 in Shiner, Texas. She was the daughter of John and Ella (Seydler) Boedeker. Ruby married Henry Frers, Jr. in Shiner, Texas on June 24, 1951. Ruby was a Florist in Shiner for many years, and enlisting her children's help delivering flowers during busy times. Ruby married Marvin Diebel on August 12, 1981 in Shiner, Texas. She enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable gardens. She liked to go dancing and listen to the music. Ruby and her friend, Barney would just take off whenever the mood hit them and travel around the country.
Ruby is survived by her special friend; Barney Myers of Victoria, Texas, four sons; Robert Frers and his wife, Janet of Manvel, Texas, Roger Frers and his wife, Lori of Livingston, Texas, Gary Frers of San Antonio, Texas, Louis Diebel and his wife Billie of Victoria, Texas, one daughter; Audry Stafford of Victoria, Texas, one Brother; Elroy Boedeker of Colorado Springs, Texas, one Sister; Delores Muenster of Houston, Texas, thirteen grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; John and Ella Boedeker, her husbands; Henry Frers, Jr., Marvin Diebel, two brothers; Roland Boedeker, and Norman Boedeker.
Pallbearers for Mrs. Diebel will be;Chris Frers, Michael Frers, Jeff Lester, Adrian Frers, Lucky Diebel, and Dietric Frers. Honorary Pallbearers will be; Gage Frers and Mitchell Lester.
