William Jerry James passed away peacefully on July 17, 2017, in Canyon Lake, Texas. He was 76 years old. Jerry was born in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1941, to William Stanley James and Shirley Jensen James. Jerry is survived by his wife Sharon James, sons Richard James, Charles Kennedy, daughters Rebecca Mesa, Terri Baker, Kelly Pritchard, brother Stan James, sister Jeannine James Slaymaker, five grandchildren and Mattie his beloved dog. We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to Sonja Johnson for her friendship and care.

We will truly miss Jerry's great sense of humor and positive attitude. He loved sports, family and reading. Professionally, he worked with Albertsons his entire career. He was a Mason.

Services to be held on July 29, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Salt Lake Masonic Temple at 650 E S Temple with a private service to be held in Canyon Lake Texas. Memorial donations may be made to Shriners Hospital.
