Early Life: Paul was born March 6, 1987, in American Fork, Utah, to Reed and Mary Ann Swenson, the fifth of eight children. He has six brothers and one sister. Paul grew up in Cedar Hills, Utah, attending Manila Elementary, Cedar Ridge Elementary, Mountain Ridge Junior High and Lone Peak High School. He was an Eagle Scout.
Life's Work | Service | Interests: Paul is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served a two-year mission to the Canada Winnipeg Mission. He attended Utah Valley University before a career in sales, managing a large sales force. He excelled in inspiring others as a leader and consultant. He had the unique ability to help others reach their goals and define their purpose. Paul had an infectious laugh and a personality that drew others to him. He was a friend to all and kept associations all over the country. Many considered him their “best friend”. He had a terrific sense of humor and could make others smile and see the beauty in life. Paul loved hunting, fishing, riding his horses, snowmobiling, river rafting and boating. He loved the outdoors and spent considerable time in the mountains. He loved life and found so much joy in living life to the fullest. He has traveled extensively and loved to see new places and experience new cultures. On February 18, 2011, he married the love of his life, Ashlee Ann Kendall Martindale, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They lived in Draper before building their home in American Fork, Utah. On December 15, 2016, their beautiful daughter, Poppy Rae, was born. She is the light of both Ashlee and Paul’s life. She was the realization of a very important dream. Paul Heiner Swenson passed away August 13, 2017.
