MIDLOTHIAN, VA. - Judy Ann (LeBlanc) Mable, age 69, of Midlothian, passed away on Sunday morning, January 22nd 2017 at her home.

She was born on September 18th 1947 in Burlington, Vt., she was the daughter of Norman Alphonse and Claribell "Clare" Villa (Palm) LeBlanc of Burlington, Vt.

She graduated from her beloved Rice Memorial High School in 1965.

She married John "Jack" Joseph Mable on August 24th 1968 in Burlington, Vermont.

They started their life's journey moving to Arizona to complete Jack's college and then following Jack's career with stops in California and Pennsylvania and finally settling with their young family in the Richmond, Va. area in 1976.

Judy loved her work at the University of Richmond where she had countless friends before she retired in 2009 due to her illness.

Her life and devotion was committed to building and maintaining a neat, tidy, and comfortable home, a nest, for Jack and their sons and all that may visit. Judy was devoted to those she loved and committed to her family above all else.

Her passion, inherited from her grandmother, was gardening. She was a member of the Salisbury Garden Club.

On a fair weather day, she could delight in a sail with Jack and their many sailing friends at Regent Point Marina and she valued her association with the neighborhood lady's group and their regular card playing. Never a moment found her idle.

Her hands were made busy knitting, crocheting, quilting, needlepoint and sewing. Judy loved to travel with her husband and together they had many great adventures.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; her father Norman LeBlanc in 1979 and her mother Clare Leblanc in 1981.

Arrangements by the Bliley's Funeral Home on 3801 Augusta Avenue in Richmond, Va.

Her remains will rest in Burlington Vermont.
