Marco Monteiro, age 38 of Norwalk, beloved husband of Carla F. (Tucci) Monteiro, died on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at his home. Born on September 20, 1971, in New Rochelle, NY, the son of Mary Ann and Peter Monteiro, he was a graduate of Central Catholic- Class of 1989, where he excelled in Football, Baseball and Basketball. Marco was co-owner/operator of Four Seasons Heating and Cooling Co. in Norwalk. He was a member of NHRA, and enjoyed semi-pro motorcycle racing. His love of sports also led him to coach Norwalk Youth Football and Norwalk Little League.
Predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Leo and Dena Petruzzi, he is survived by his loving wife Carla of 15 years, two sons, Marco Peter Monteiro and Anthony Carlo Monteiro; and a daughter, Jessica Claire Monteiro; two brothers, Alex and his wife Dawn, and Peter and his wife Beth; as well as his grandparents, Alex and Ann Monteiro; Parents-in-law, Peter and Theresa Tucci; sister-in-law, Trina Tucci Muro and her husband Brian; and brother-in-law, Peter Tucci and his wife Amy; as well as several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins, and his Pit Bull pal "Bruiser" A Liturgy of the Word will be held on Thursday , April 1, 2010 at 11 am at St. Jerome Church, Norwalk, with entombment to follow at St. John Cemetery. His family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4 to 9 pm at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk.
