Mrs. Rudolph Schoewe
Alpha---Service for Mrs. Rudolph (Marie) Schoewe, Sr., 88, of rural Alpha will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Kimball Township with burial in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Schoewe died Saturday at Trimont Hospital.
Friends may call tonight at Sathe and Son Funeral Home in Jackson.
Mrs. Schoewe was born Marie Oeltjenbruns Sept. 8, 1885 in Germany and came to the United States with her family when she was four. She married Rudolph S. Schowew in 1912 at Mountain Lake and they farmed in Kimball Township. He died in 1967.
Survivors include one son and two daughters, Rudolph G. Schoewe of Alpha, Mrs. Kenneth Schwager of Trimont and Mrs. Clarence Lade of Mountain Lake; four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; four brothers and two sisters, Gerhard, Fred, John and Emil Oeltjenbruns, Mrs. Fred Stenke and Mrs. Anna Stenke, all of Mountain Lake.
