DECATUR -- Whitney Nicole Summerlott, 24, of Decatur, died Friday, September 1, 2017 in Carle Hospital, Urbana, IL.
A family led memorial service will be 4:00P.M. Friday, September 8, 2017 in Parkway Church of the Nazarene, 2701 E. Faries Parkway, Decatur. There will be no visitation. Memorials will be appreciated to Gods Shelter of Love. Tanzyus Logan Funeral Service is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Whitney was born in Decatur on July 7, 1993, the daughter of Angela Lill and Dan White. She was a graduate of Eisenhower High School. Whitney owned Little Bird’s Soap and Sundries. Whitney gave of herself to everyone around her, was a warrior for social change, and a friend to all. Whitney married Eric Summerlott August 9, 2014 in Decatur. She and her husband shared a love for all time.
Whitney is survived by her husband Eric, children Nathan Summerlott and Lucy Summerlott at home; mother Angela Lill of Decatur; father Dan White and wife Marissa of Decatur; sister Natalie Wright of Decatur; brothers Andrew Wright of Fort Sill, OK, Tyler White of Schaumberg, IL, and Mark Uy of Decatur; mother in law and father in law Marc and Debra Summerlott of Decatur; grandparents Margaret White of Decatur and Debbie and Alan Rider of Mount Auburn; numerous aunts, uncles, cousin and friends; and her fur babies Zeus, Molly, Emit and Wulfie.
