OBITUARY ANNE CHURCHILL HODGSON (NEE HYDE)
Aged ninety-six years, died peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, March 4, 2006 at Residence Desjardins in St. Sauveur des Monts , Quebec. She was the widow of Jonathan Archibald Hodgson whom she married on October 25, 1930 and who predeceased her in October 1974. "Pinkie" as she was affectionately known, graduated from McGill University in 1930 and was very active in the Junior League, YWCA, Women's Canadian Club, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and the Garden Club. She was an avid gardener and loved above all else her home and garden at Murray Lake in Morin Heights. She will be fondly remembered by her extended family which include her four children; Joanne Locke Kronlachner of Toronto, Charles Jonathan Hodgson of Toronto, Allan Archibald Hodgson of London, England, and David Churchill Hodgson of Morin Heights; her 11 grandchildren, Bruce (deceased), Vivian, Jaeger, Jean, Ryan and Allan of Charles Jonathan; Lucinda, Jonathan , and Anne of Allan and; Jennifer Anne and Nancy Norah of David. She also leaves seven great grandchildren. The funeral will The funeral will be private.
