10 Mar 2007: ElizabethAnne Lerch, 79, Frey Village Retirement Community, formerly of Middletown, passed peacefully from this life to be with her Lord Thursday, March 8, 2007 in Harrisburg Hospital. She was the daughter of the late William and Anne E. Wood Zimmerman. Mrs. Lerch was a former secretary of Penn State Capital Campus and Middletown Area School District. She was a member of Middletown First Church of God; a graduate of the former Middletown High School, Class of 1945 and a member of the Alumni Association, where she served on the Class Reunion Committee. She enjoyed writing children's stories, flower gardening and reading. Surviving are her husband Harry W. Lerch; daughters Suzanne E., wife of Scott Hile of Harrisburg and Linda S. Lerch of Itacha, NY; sons Richard J., husband of Tammy Lerch of Kettering, OH and William C., husband of Lisa Lerch of Mechanicsburg; brother John Zimmerman of Enhaut; grandchildren Kasey Hile, Brian Lerch and Katie Charbonneau.
