Eighty years History of Mercer County, PA, 1877, p. 82, "James Vincent settled in Butler County, four miles from the present town of Harrisville, in 1798. His son, William Vincent, Esq., {rebuilt] a grist-mill in that county, and ran it for eighteen years. He removed to Liberty Township (at Blacktown) in 1854, and is now living in Springfield township (Mercer Co.).
