Nadine was born on May 30, 1916 in Clovis, New Mexico and moved back to Hot Springs with her parent and siblings 3 months later.
She resided in Hot Springs for 101 years.
Nadine was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, H. Crandall Lotz, and her parents, Ira R Gibbs and Clara Norwood Graham Gibbs. She was also predeceased by her nine siblings: Idelle Gibbs Brooks, Bill Gibbs, Sally Gibbs Ramoly, John Gibbs, Fred Gibbs, Jimmy Gibbs, Doris "Perky" Gibbs Elam, Aneetha Gibbs, and Janice Gibbs Watts.
Nadine is survived by her two daughters, Nancy June Lotz Miller and husband, Donald E. Miller of Readfield, Maine, and Barby Lotz Power and husband, Van Power of Dallas, Texas. She is also survived by her 2 devoted grandchildren, Miranda Katherine Miller of Wayne, Maine, and Colton Van Power and his wife, Reagan Power, of Arlington, Texas.
Nadine is also survived by many precious nieces and nephews, and great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Nadine graduated from Hot Springs High School and attended Greenbriar College in Lewisburg, West Virginia and Hot Springs Business College. She worked in the family business, Oaklawn Tourist Court, Ozark Bath House, kept books for Hickman Insurance, and was on the first Board of Directors for Jackson House, and was a suicide hotline counselor.
Nadine was a devoted mom to her two daughters: homeroom mom, Girl Scout leader, Sunday school teacher, Vacation Bible School teacher. She was a charter member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, giving her time as an Elder, pastor search committees, faithful member of Women of the Church and Catherine Circle.
She and Crandall loved traveling with their family all over the United States and after retirement to Europe and Hawaii.
Nadine's family is forever grateful to Brandy Henthorn and Ruth Carson for their tender loving care, along with Hallie Bartsch, Hannah Bartsch, Earnestine Gates, Shanice Vaughn, Belinda Steele, and Judy Steube.
A celebration of Nadine's life will be held Friday, September 22, 2017 at 10:30am at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 3819 Central Avenue, Hot Springs.
