Mrs. Frank
Mrs. Catherine Margaret Frank, 98, of Laurel, died Saturday at Yellowstone County Nursing Home.
She was born March 17, 1872, in Russia. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Daniel. She was married to George Spadt in 1893, in Bloomfield, Russia, and they immigrated to the United States in 1909, and settled in Carnegie, Okla. They moved to Russell, Kans. and Garden City, Kans., then moved to Billings in 1913. She had lived in the area since. After Mr. Spadt died she was married to the late Philip Frank.
Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Bob Wilkins; Mrs. Andy Foos; Mrs. Henry [Mina] Schrader of Portland, Ore.; Mrs. Mary Senior of Portland, Ore.; Mrs. Henry [Kathryn] Walker of Missoula; Mrs. Lydia Stephens; two sons, Jack Spadt of Pasco, Wash., and John Spadt of Missoula; 41 grandchildren, 71 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Pilgrim Congregational Church. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Fred Schneider will officiate.
Smith's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
