"Fremont - Mrs. Augusta Krenke, 78, died at her home in the town of Wolf River Sunday afternoon after a nine-day illness. Born Aug. 3, 1860, in the town of Caledonia, Waupaca county, the daughter of Albert and Louise Klemp. She was married July 12, 1888, to August Krenke. She lived in the town of Wolf River all her married life. Mr. Krenke died Feb. 27, 1935.
"Survivors are four sons, Henry and Richard Krenke, town of Wolf River; Albert and William, town of Bloomfield; four daughters, Mrs. Sophia Schnyder, Oshkosh, Mrs. Magdelena Schneider, Dale; Mrs. Emma Borchardt, and Miss Freda Krenke, town of Wolf River, a sister, Mrs. Louise Frederick, Clintonville; a brother, Henry Klemp, Osseco, Minn., 17 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
"Funeral services were conducted at 1:30 Wednesday afternoon at the home and at 2 o'clock at St. Paul's Lutheran church, Fremont, of which she was a member. The Rev. E.A. Schmidt was in charge. Burial was in St. Paul's Lutehran cemtery, town of Wolf River."

Sept. 9, 1938, Page 4: "KRENKE - Funeral services for Mrs. Augusta Krenke were held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the home in the town of Wolf River and at 2 o'clock at St. Paul's Luthean church at Fremont. The Rev. E. A. Schmidt was in charge. Interment was in the church cemetery. The funeral was largely attended and there were many beautiful floral tributes. Pallbearers were Theodore Krenke, Lorenz Tews, Elmer Krueger, John Klemp, Albert Schroeder, and the Rev. Eugene Klemp, nephews of the deceased. The Misses Leona, Viola and Lillian Klemp rendered a vocal selection. St. Paul's mixed choir sang a selection."
