Born July 4, 1968, in Harrisburg, he was a son of the late Luther B. "Pete" and Wilma I. (Kistler) Bixler.
Scott was employed as a Machinist at NTM, Inc. in Newport. He was a quiet man who enjoyed nature, motorcycles, restoring cars, and playing his guitar.
Scott is survived by his brother, Thomas Bixler, and his wife, Darla, of Millerstown and Brian Bixler, of Miller Township, as well as his sister, Wendy Johnson, and her husband, Steven, of Whippany, NJ. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Anna, Sarah, Samuel, Abigail, Jonathan and Matthew, and, great nieces and nephew, Sophia, Isabella, Thomas and Vivien.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service at 11:30 A.M. on Tuesday October 3, 2017, at Hill Cemetery, Watts Township, with Pastor David Bard, officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ronald C.L. Smith Funeral Home, 325 N. High Street, Duncannon.
