Dolores Rose Wenstrup, 84, of Sunset Beach, NC passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2017.

She was born on March 13, 1933 to the late Raymond and Rose Pottebaum in Cincinnati, OH. She is also predeceased by her husband, Kenneth, and a granddaughter, Kimberly Rose Freeman; brothers, Raymond, Joseph, and a sister, Mary.

She was a RN specializing in infectious diseases. After her retirement, she became a volunteer nurse for the underprivileged in our community. She was a member of the Seatrail Garden Club, STLGA, Red Hat Society, Mighty Mights, and played in the Seatrail Community Card Group.

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved friend Gene Williams, son, Gary Wenstrup and wife Donna of Cincinnati; daughter Julie Wenstrup of Cincinnati; grandchildren, Katie, Megan, Jennifer, Gary Jr., Jessica, and Alicia; great-grandchildren, Trevor Layne, Emma, Kiersten, Nora, Elowyn (Ellie), and Maximus; her sister, Angela Buehler and husband Jim of Cincinnati, sister in-law, Judy D’Amico of Cincinnati; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and treasured friends.

A mass will be held at 10am on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 in St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Brunswick Memorial Gardens.
