Norman Alfred Weng, 86, passed away on October 4, 2017, in Houston, Texas.

Norman was born January 22, 1931, in Boulder, Colorado, to John and Anna Weng. He grew up on the family farm in the Longmont area, graduating from High School in 1950. After serving in the military as an Army Medic, he became a Dairy Farmer and after retiring, moved to Houston, Texas in 1995.

Norman was married for 64 years and is survived by his Loving wife Irma, daughter Norma Sue and her husband Anthony, his son Mark, three sisters, Ruth Ann, Arlene Lea, Marilyn, and one brother, Kenneth. Norman was preceded in death by his son David, in 2006.

Norman loved spending time with his family, enjoyed fishing and worldwide travel as well as golf, cooking and working in his shop. Norman always had a smile on his face, loved meeting people, never knew a stranger, and had a heart as big as the outdoors.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Carroll-Lewellen Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Foothills Gardens of Memory.
