He died on the eve of their 16th Wedding Anniversary at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow on August 24th 1968. Surviving was his wife Goldie Marie (nee Forsythe) his eldest son Gerald Alan, daughter Joyce Elane, youngest son Kevin Walter Cameron. Also his mother Mrs. Mildred Cameron, Pine Tree; brothers Merton, Toronto; Chalmers, Pine Tree; Forbes, Toronto; Donald, Sutherland's River; Douglas, Toronto, many aunts and uncles, cousins and nieces, nephews.
