Kathleen Joan Pickar of Littlefork, Minnesota died Thursday, February 1st, 2007 at the Littlefork Care Center.
Kathleen was born April 12, 1935 in Manitou Township. She grew up around the Frontier School District and graduated from the Littlefork High School in 1953.
In 1953 Kathleen Bratten was united in marriage to Ronald "Jack" Pickar. She worked as an accountant for Boise Cascade for over 20 years. She was a member of St. Columban Catholic Church in Littlefork. Kathleen enjoyed camping, gardening and raising her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Peter & Irene (Carew) Bratten, her brother Bernie, sister, Barbara Promersberger and grandson Jeremy Burke.
Kathleen is survived by her husband Ronald "Jack" Pickar of Littlefork, Mn. Sons; Kenneth (Devin) Pickar of Warroad, Mn, Mark (Amy) Pickar of Cannon Falls, Mn, and Patrick (Michelle) Pickar of Inver Grove Heights, Mn. Her daughters Teresa Pickar of Maplewood, Mn, and Tara (Dan) Arndt of Trophy Club, TX. Her 10 grandchildren; Leroy, Jayne, Adrienne, Jack, Taran, Tatum, Haley, William, Madison and Paige, and her 4 great-grandchildren; Bradley, Samantha, Alex and Ulric, her brothers Don (Elaine) Bratten, Duane (Inez) Bratten, and Darrell (Jackie) Bratten all of Fairbanks, Alaska.
Visitation will be held on Monday evening, February 5, 2007 at the St. Columban Catholic Church in Littlefork with Rosary at 5:30 p.m.
Funeral service to be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. also at St. Columban Church.
Interment will be in Oakley Cemetery, Littlefork, Minnesota.
