Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin with Pastor Dave Simerson officiating.
The Dirksen family will greet friends from 12:00 noon-1:30, immediately preceding the service.
Interment will be in Rose Creek Enterprise Cemetery.

Scott David Dirksen
Scott David was born May 22, 1990, in Albert Lea, Minnesota, to Timothy Allen and Lori Ann (Pearson) Dirksen. Scott grew up in the Owatonna, Minnesota area, and from there embarked on his great adventure. For the last couple years Scott has resided in Columbus, Nebraska, where he was employed with N.G.R. Construction. Scott enjoyed “muddin.” He had a big heart and genuinely loved people. Everyone who met Scott loved him, especially children.
He is survived by his son, Logan of Owatonna; parents, Tim Dirksen of Owatonna, and Lori Pearson of Austin; brother, Bryan (Brandy) Dirksen and family of Austin; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017, at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin with Pastor Dave Simerson officiating. Scott’s family will greet friends from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, prior to the service at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Rose Creek Enterprise Cemetery, rural Austin.
