ADAM MICHAEL STIER, 22, died Wednesday, March 14, 2007, at 2:30 p.m., at Hospice Home, Fort Wayne. Born Jan. 30, 1985, in Fort Wayne, he was a son of Michael and Janet (Whealton) Stier. He graduated from Columbia City High School, in 2003. He is survived by his mother, Janet Stier of Columbia City; father, Michael (Theresa) Stier of Roanoke; sister, Alexis (Greg) Shoda of Fort Wayne; brother, Halley Stier of Columbia City; paternal grandmother, Sharon Stier of Roanoke; and maternal grandmother, Jean Whealton of Lakeland, Fla. Funeral service is 8 p.m. Friday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City, with Chaplin Russ Dewell of Trinity Lutheran Church officiating. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial is 2 p.m. Saturday at South Park Annex Cemetery, 1500 South State Road 205, Columbia City.
