Mrs. Mary M. Kolacz, 73, of 56921 Tulip Rd., New Carlisle, died at 5:10 a.m. today in Essex Nursing Home after an extended illness.
She was born on Feb. 28, 1898, in New Carlisle and had lived in the New Carlisle area all of her life. In 1934, in New Carlisle, she was married to Leon Kolacz, who survives, along with three sons, Edwin of Livonia, Mich., Casimir of New Carlisle, and Richard of South Bend; a daughter, Mrs. John Nowak of New Carlisle, and 12 grandchildren.
Mrs. Kolacz was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society of St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church.
