Robert Frank Popp went to be with the lord Jesus on November 6, 2017. Robert was born in Freeport, Illinois to Frank Wilhelm Popp and Violet Isabel Popp.

After high school, he attended Wheaton College, played varsity tennis, met his bride, and graduated from the business school in 1953. Thereafter, he served two years in the United States Army during the Koran Conflict.

He returned to Freeport to start his career in business with a division of Honeywell. In 1960, he moved to Racine, Wisconsin with his wife and family, where he began a twenty-seven-year career with Modine Manufacturing Company, eventually becoming a Corporate Officer of Modine.

During retirement, Robert was active in various churches and ministries, including Mission America Placement Services and the Institute For Creation Research of Dallas, Texas.

Robert is survived by his wife, two children, son-in-law, three granddaughters, grandson, grandson-in-Iaw and two great-grandsons.

Robert was greatly loved and respected by his family and friends in the numerous locations where he lived.

A Celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, November 11th at 2:30pm at Penn Forest Worship Center, located at 3735 Chaparral Drive, Roanoke, Virginia 24018.
