He was born 5 September 1943 in Chicago, Illinois to Victor Frank and Louise Teresa (Daluga) Sikora and was the middle child of 3 boys. After graduating Proviso East High School in 1961 he joined the United states Air Force in 1961 and Served in Viet Nam in 1966.
He married Judith Lynn Kimball 19 Sept 1964 and from that union they had a daughter Lynn Sikora. He married Diane Effie Jachim 17 Dec 1979 and adopted her son James.
He was a graduate from Western Oklahoma State College in 1994 with an Associate in Science and graduated from Cameron University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He also graduated from the Community College of the Air Force in 1981 with an Associate in Applied Science for Aircraft Powerplant Technology.
He had been active with the Numismatic Association and the Lions Club.
He is survived by two ex-wives Judi Kabrick and Diane Cota, his older brother James P Sikora, daughter Lynn Sikora (Daniel Van Gorden), son James (Tabitha) Sikora, granddaughter Jenna (John) Loudakis, grandson Cpl Chris Alvear, Jayden Sikora, great grandchildren Hayden, Hailey, Michael, Aria, Cameron Basto, and Nolan Hollingsworth as well as Nieces Julie and Lisa, cousin Marylynn (James) Janetopoulos and numerous friends.
Alan was cremated and the actual memorial service will be conducted after the holiday in January 2018.
