Born in Taunton, Diane was the daughter of the late Joseph and Bella (Frances) Aranjo.
Before retirement, Diane was employed with Commonwealth of MA Dept. of Developmental Services, caring for people with developmental disabilities.
She was an active, popular and social person with many nicknames like "The Coolata Lady", "Captain Mom" and "Di-Di". Diane was often seen wearing one of her many hats (she had over 401). She had a wild sense of humor and was known for her goofiness, her exceptional cooking skills, her unending kindness, cleverness and wit. She was a collector of all things nautical.
She was the loving mother of Derek Reckard and Aaron Reckard, both of Taunton, and was also the sister of Barry Aranjo and the late Joseph Aranjo Jr., also of Taunton.
Interment in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
