Born in Louisdale, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Sr. and Sarah Jane (Samson) Joyce.
She is survived by her daughter Edna (Richard Cotton), Louisdale; grandchildren Robbin (Glenda), Vaughn (Diane), Danielle (Sheldon), Adam (Shauna); great-grandchildren, Kayla, Emily, Victoria, Jacob, Logan and Landon; brothers, Henry, Louisdale, Arthur (Josephine), St. Peter’s.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Edward “Eddie”; sisters, Cecile, Rita, Florence, Anna; brothers, Raymond, Thomas Jr., Andrew, Narcisse, Lawrence, Robert.
Visitation will be held on Friday, from 2-4 and 7-9 and on Saturday morning from 9:30 ��" 10:30, at the Glen Sampson Room in Louisdale. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. at St. Louis Church, Louisdale, with Father Duaine Devereaux officiating. Burial will follow in the St Louis Parish Cemetery.
