Albert Lylle Belt Jr , 68, of Hampstead, died Sunday, Feb 9, 1997 at the Long View Nursing Hume Manchester, after a brief illness. Born April 6, 1928, in Hampstead, he was the son of the late Albert L. Sr and Ada Blizzard Belt He was the husband of May N. Bull Belt. He was retired from Charles J Miller Inc . where he had been a foreman for many years. Since his retirement he worked part-time at the Hampstead Jiffy-Mart as a purchasing agent. He was a longtime member of Grace United Methodist Church in Hampstead and Westminster Moose Lodge No. 1381 He was a member of the Carroll Carvers and the D.A.V. Commanders Club. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are son Albert L Belt III of Hampstead, daughters Diana Grote of Millers, Sharon Eyler of Reisterstown and Bonnie Belt of Hampstead, seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren He was predeceased by son John R Belt and brother LeRoy Belt. Funeral services will be at 10 am Wednesday at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel. Md. 30 and Charmil Drive, Manchester with the Rev Christopher Gobrecht of Grace United Methodist Church officiating Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Finksburg Fnends may call from 3 to 5 p m and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home Memorial contributions may be made to Grace L'nited Methodist Church. Black Rock Road. Hampstead. Md 21074.
