James Ricardo Miller, of the 2900 block of Verdun Ave., died Oct. 12, 1995, in his home.

He was a native of Norfolk and is survived by a daughter, Jameka Freeman of Norfolk; one son, James Greene of Virginia Beach; his parents, Linda Miller of Norfolk and James Hines of Portsmouth; one sister, Linda Miller of Norfolk; one brother, Jermaine Miller of Norfolk; paternal grandmother, Florence Hines of Portsmouth; maternal grandmother, Pearlie Miller of Norfolk; a very special friend, Risheta Freeman of Norfolk; two uncles, Eugene D. Miller of Chesapeake, Paul A. Miller of Norfolk; five aunts, Brenda F. Miller and Catherine D. Harrell, both of Norfolk, Carolyn D. Thomas of Chesapeake, Arlita M. Everett and Yolanda S. Miller, both of Norfolk; and other aunts and uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Fitchett Funeral Home by the Rev. L.P. Watson. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The family will be at 1110 Park Ave., Apt. J, Norfolk.
