LuElla passed away December 13, 2017 in Gainesville. She was born March 20, 1929 in Cooke County to Paul Arendt, Sr. and Susie Neu Arendt.
Mrs. Zimmerer is survived by son and daughter-in-law Rudy and Claudia Zimmerer; son Jason Zimmerer; daughter and son-in-law Carol and Roger Luttmer; daughter and son-in-law Susie and David Jones; grandchildren Julie Perez, Emily Rinner, Andy Zimmerer, Pat Zimmerer, Laura Zimmerer, Rachel Zimmerer, Elizabeth Freeman, Maggie Steele, Sara Walters, Greg Luttmer, Parker Jones, Lily Jones, Zach Zimmerer, and Ryan Zimmerer; 12 great-grandchildren. Also Surviving are sisters Joanie Bauer, Lou Voth, and Marie Metzler; sister-in-law Dorothy Zimmerer; numerous nieces and nephews.
Luella was preceded in death by her husband Vincent Zimmerer; her parents; sisters Ann Herr, Flo Walterscheid, and Lizzie Hoberer; brothers Ernest, Andy, Johnnie, Paulie, Artie, Aloyis, Pat, and Ulrich Arendt.
Mrs. Zimmerer graduated from Lindsay High School and attended Our Lady of Victory College in Fort Worth. She was a homemaker, raising four children on the family farm. She enjoyed quilting and particularly liked making potholders and other items for family members and friends. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
