Dorothy M. “Dottie” Kruer Frieders, 93, of Sun City, AZ formerly of Floyds Knobs, IN passed away December 11, 2017. Dottie was born on October 15, 1924 to John Henry and Anna Josephine Koopman Kruer of Floyds Knobs, IN. She was predeceased by; her husband Robert Frieders, her parents, brothers Raymond, Leo George, Louis & John Kruer. Sisters, Agnes “Daisy” Book and Sister Mary Ann Kruer.
She is survived by her sister Bertha “Birdie” Hoehn, New Salisbury, IN, her brother Edmond & his wife, Martha Jane Kruer, Floyds Knobs, IN and sister-in-law, Mary Ann Kruer, Floyds Knobs, IN, sister-in-law, Sister Michaeleen of South Bend, IN and sister-in law, Mary Ann Frieders Ajo of St Louis, MO, sister in law, Norma Frieders, Kansas City MO, brother-in-law Jack Christoffel, Auroa, IL as well as numerous nieces and nephews and grand and great grand nieces and nephews. Dottie worked in healthcare in South Bend, IN and also in Washington DC. Later, she spent her later years in the field of children’s education and has been retired for over 30 years. Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 12 noon at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Avondale, AZ. There will be a Memorial Mass for Aunt Dottie on January 28, 2018 at 10:30 AM at St Mary’s of the Knobs Catholic Church in Floyds Knobs, IN.
