Jami Anne Simon, age 22 of Cannon Falls, died on Thursday, July 1,1993.

She was born on February 22,1971 in Farmington, the daughter of Jim and Bonnie (Montei) Simon. She was baptized at Christ Lutheran Church in Eagan. As a youth, she showed horses, and won a national championship. She graduated from Cannon Falls High School in 1989, where she was active in the tennis program. She had attended St. Cloud University, where she was active in the Chi Sigma Rho sorority. She was active in her family business, Simon Enterprises. She had also been previously employed at Wiederholts Supper Club in Miesville, as well as Permans in Cannon Falls. Jami enjoyed working with people.

She is the dearly beloved daughter of Jim and Bonnie Simon of Cannon Falls; very special sister and sister-in-law to Teri (Mark) Kusilek, and to brother, Ryan Simon. She was also a special aunt to nieces and goddaughters, Katie and Kelly Kusilek, all of Cannon Falls. In addition, she is survived by grandmother, Laverne Simon of Apple Valley; aunts, uncles and cousins; and special friend, Wendy Carroll. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Roy Simon and Fred and Josephine Montei; and cousin, Justin Simon.

Funeral services were held on Monday, July 5, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ansgars Lutheran Church in Cannon Falls, with Pastor Joanne Sorenson officiating. Music was provided by Jane Bracken and Shawn Dudley. Pallbearers were Jon, Paul, Eric and Scott Montei, David and Steve Pagel. Honorary pallbearers were Steven and Michael Giese. Arrangements by Lundberg Funeral Home, Cannon Falls.
