Born in Jasper, Indiana, she was a Registered Nurse, having studied at St. Joseph’s Infirmary School of Nursing. A classmate, Carmel Bronger, introduced Shirley to her future husband, Marty. She was also a long-time member of St. Denis Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, and the “Dizzy Dozen Girls Club”.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin C. Fallon; and her parents, William and Evelyn Hoffman.
Shirley is survived by ten children; three siblings; 23 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
