Rose Marie Lindfors, 77, of Cumberland died March 9 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Rice Lake. Funeral services were Tuesday morning at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Cumberland with the Revs. David Lusson and Dennis Mullen officiating and burial at the church cemetery.

Mrs. Lindfors was born June 29, 1929 in Cumberland to Felix and Mary (DeDominces) Zappa and grew up there. She married Norman Lindfors in St. Paul on April 3, 1948, and he died Aug. 12, 2001. Mrs. Lindfors worked at 3M for a short time and at American Tool for 15 years until her retirement.

She is survived by two sons, Steven and Jerry, both of Cumberland; a daughter, Patricia Roettger of Frederic; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Bennie of Flint, Mich., and Donald of Hudson; a foster brother, Tony Ranallo of Cumberland; and two sisters, Carole Poukey of Onalaska and Janice Peterson of Blaine, Minn.
