James Linwood Wirtz, 64, husband of Cindy Ann Lau Wirtz of 161 Lewie Street, Westminster, passed away Monday, September 26, 2016, at his residence.

A native of Baltimore, MD, Mr. Wirtz was the son of the late Lewis Linwood and Mary Elizabeth Jackson Wirtz. He was a carpenter.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Wirtz is survived by daughters: Jennifer Lynn Baker (Ricky) of Westminster and Tracey Ann Gilliam (Paul) of Seneca; brothers: Jerry Ray Wirtz (Beth) of Westminster, Ricky Edward Wirtz of Westminster, Michael Allen Wirtz (Michelle) of Walhalla, and Steven Lou Wirtz (Donna) of Westminster; six grandchildren: Michael, Kayla, Justin, Matthew, Jason, and Audrey; two step-grandchildren: Celsey and Anthony; and two great-grandchildren: Jayden and Brantley.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Wirtz was preceded in death by his brother: Ronald Wirtz.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Davenport Funeral home with burial to follow in Heritage Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, prior to the service, at Davenport Funeral Home.
