G B Cravey, 85, of Silsbee, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. He was born in Silsbee, Texas on December 25, 1932 to Bill and Gertie Cravey. G B was an Army Veteran and he retired from Union Oil. He was a proud and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Gertie Cravey.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Clora Jo Womack Cravey; son, Bill Cravey and wife, Charlene of Silsbee; daughter, Sheila Ann Cravey Riedinger and husband, David of Warren; daughter, Janice Poland of Kountze; grandson, Billy Wayne Cravey and wife Canica along with their children, Terra Cravey, and Emilynn Cravey; grandson, Mike Cravey; granddaughter, Amanda Pooler; grandson, Arnold David Riedinger, Jr. and wife, Amber along with their children, Sandra Jo Ann Riedinger, and Treyson Lane Riedinger; grandson, Anthony Lynn Riedinger and wife, Kerri along with their children, Bradley Michael Riedinger, and Tyler Chase Riedinger; granddaughter, Delilah Ann Poland; sisters, Betty, Sybil, Velma, and Billie Mae; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Farmer Funeral Home on Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Hooks Cravey Cemetery in Silsbee, officiated by Reverend Shannon Kilpatrick.
Serving as pallbearers will be Bill Cravey, Billy Cravey, Mike Cravey, Charlene Cravey, Sheila Ann Cravey Riedinger, and Amanda Pooler.
