Myron J. Repp, age 75, of Canton, passed away at Mercy Medical Center Wednesday, November 24, 2004 after a courageous battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. He was born in Massillon, OH., on August 29, 1929 to the late Robert D. and Florence (Zorger) Repp. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the Korean Conflict. He worked at Monarch Industrial Tire Division and later retired from Trellborg Wheel Systems Inc. in Hartville. He was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church, St. Peters Holy Name/Mens Club, St. Vincent DePaul Society and served as a church usher. He also was a member of the VFW and the Sons of Herman in Massillon and enjoyed golfing with his friends and family.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to those who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Elfriede (Hellstern) Repp with whom he celebrated 49 years of marriage on November 5, 2004; five sons and daughter-in-laws, Michael and Gina Repp, Timothy and Gail Repp, Jonathan and Linda Repp, Kevin and Susan Repp all of Canton and Joel Repp of Malvern; 11 grandchildren, Brei, Lindsay, Brittney, Quinn, Maddalyn, Jacob, Alexandrya, Garrett and Harrison Repp, Charles and Amanda Imboden; one great grandchild, Jayden Berry. He is also survived by two brothers and sister-in-law, Robert Repp and Richard and Mary Repp of Massillon; one sister-in-law and brother-in-law, William and Louise (Hellstern) Mraz of Canton and several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Peters Catholic Church with Msgr. John C. Finnigan as celebrant. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

Friends may call Sunday November 28, 2004 in the Wackerly Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. The St. Peters Holy Name/Mens Club will hold a prayer service at 3:45 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the MMC Hospice, 7568 Whipple Ave NW. N.
