He was born June 5, 1990 in Cape Girardeau to James Patrick and Cindy Ann Garrett Joyce.

He was a certified Grill-Master at Red Lobster and was a member of the Lob Squad in Cape Girardeau.

He is survived by his father, James of Bonne Terre, Missouri; his mother, Cindy Ann Joyce of Benton; a son, Zaiden Joyce of Cape Girardeau; maternal grandfather, Lester Garrett of Benton; two brothers, Jesse Venable of Scott City and Gary Venable of Benton and a sister, Tiffany Joyce of Benton.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of service on Tuesday at the Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday at the Chapel with Jesse Venable officiating.

Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
