OBITUARIES:
Lawrence P. Stoiber, 65, of Bonita Springs, died Nov. 11, 2001, at a local hospital.
Mr. Stoiber had been a resident of Bonita Springs for the past three months, coming from Islamorada, Fla.
He was vice president of City Corp Banking in New York for nine years and president of Diners Club for three years. He was a member of St. Leo Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, June Stoiber of Bonita Springs; three sons, Michael H. Stoiber of West Los Angeles, Calif., Lawrence (Rene) Stoiber of Englewood, Colo., and Christopher A. Stoiber of Islamorada, Fla.; a brother, Edmund (Jane) Stoiber, and a sister, Mildred (David) Zwerling, and twin grandsons.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, at Walter Shikany's Bonita Funeral Home.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at St. Leo Catholic Church, with Father Jozef Mitek officiating.
Walter Shikany's Bonita Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
