He had a son John Jr, and is listed as brother of John of Watford.
In 1390, 4 of his sheep were killed by dogs.
He received his land in Chapmansland (Wiltshire) from the late John Sr, & it passes to his brother Edmund in 1396, then received Adamesgrove (Abbotts Langley, Hertfordshire) from father John & took Adamsgrove & Adamesfeld for himself in 1405.
He rec'd de la Haiis in Chipperfield from Joan, Queen of England & Lady of Langleye, in 1436 & land eventually passes to "Thomas of the Mill". The present family descends from him. He receivedd land in Kings Langley, Abbots Langley, Rickmansworth,& Chipperfield between his brothers Edward & John in 1443.
He died in 1440 & had tenements called Chapmansland, Wappenham, Huntfield, Pyngefeld, le Brodefeld, Ryfeld, le Ryehulle (Rye hill), Auhull, Garlegge , Culvercroft, damsfeld, Hulleswyke. Thomas Hulle sells land in Chipperfield to Richard. His son John Jr. inherits the land.[1]
