Eunice was born on Dec. 30, 1926, in Gregory, S.D., to Peter and Bertha (Bortz) Dahm. She married Alfred Viktor on Sept. 7, 1945, in Pocahontas, Iowa. He preceded her in death in June of 2009.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Peter; and her grandson Joel.
Surviving are three sons, Cary (Cary) Viktor of Orlando, Fla., Kurtis Viktor of Mackinaw and Kevin (Lyne) Viktor of Pensacola, Fla.; one daughter Marla (Steven) Lacy of Pittsburgh, Pa.; seven grandchildren, Brook Viktor, Kurtis and Brad Viktor, Stefanie and Mark Lacy and Gregory and Clare Viktor; and two great-grandchildren, Colton and Blake Viktor.
Eunice was a dedicated homemaker who took great pride in taking care of her family. She worked at the Morton Auto Auction for several years.
Eunice loved the outdoors and animals, especially her dog, Peanuts. She enjoyed playing cards and achieved Life Master in Contract Bridge.
Eunice was a longtime member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Morton, where services will be held. A visitation will be held from 9 to 9:45 a.m., with a funeral Mass following at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, with Msgr. Gerald Ward officiating. Burial will be Thursday, March 8, at Calvary Cemetery in Pocahontas, Iowa.
Memorials may be made to Tazewell Animal Protective Society (TAPS) or Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Morton.
