Philip Sirota, of 545 Cross street, Malden, aged 73, passed away Thursday, August 4, of a heart ailment. The deceased was a native of Russia and a resident of Malden for the past 26 years. A retired metal worker, he was a member of Congregation Agudas Achim.
Surviving are his wife Bella; two sons, David and Benjamin, both of Malden. He also leaves three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held in Malden with Rabbi Sidney Leeder officiating, and interment took place at the Agudas Achim Cemetery in Melrose. The deceased was attended by the Malden Chevra Kaddishe of which he was a member.
