Edith Jean Lambert Ryan,73 of lambert road wymer, passed from this life wednesdy March 1,2006 at home following a valiant battle with cancer.She was born June 8 1932,at wymer, the daughter of the late George W and Fannie Sponaugle.Mrs Ryan attended the Job Church of God and was very passionate about the wild outdoors. Hunting and fishing ranked at the top of her list of favorite pastime. Her idea of a perfect day was spending time along a peaceful mountain trout stream and taking in nature's tranquil beauty. Jean was retired from Bethlehem Coal Mine 108 and was more recently employed at Canaan Valley Ski Resort. She was preceded in death by Charles Gurney Mullenex; Five Lambert brothers Linzie,Vernard, George,Curlin and Harvey; and two sisters,Brvcie Hartman and Lynetta Knutti.Left to cherish her memory are her loving husdand of 23 years Donald Lee Ryan; a brother. Hersel Lambert and wife Marion, of Lyndonville, N.Y; two sister Louvary Ray of elkins and Katherine Stimmel and husband, James, of Morgantown; three sons,C Gregory Mullenex and wife, Brenda of Elkins Don Mullenex and Brenda of Elkins and John Mullenex and wife Debbie of Wymer, a special niece, Vergie Lambert of Elkins;three stepchildren, Donald RyanII and wife, Kathy, of Akron Ohio, Jeffrey Ryan and wife Linda of Jacksonville Fla and Richard Ryan and wife Sandy, of Wymer; eight grandchildren, three stepgrand children and five great-grandchildren. Jean would have wished to exten unending gratitude and fondness to her best friend, confidant and stepdaughter-in-law, Sandy Ryan, for her companionship and tender loving care. A private graveside was held with immediate family in attendance March 2 at Adonijah Lambert Cemetery in Wymer, From March 24 2006
