Mosinee - Lucille A. Hirsch, 95, Formerly of Town of Green Valley, died Sunday, March 25, 2018, at Three Oaks Health Services, Marshfield.

She was born May 12, 1922, in Auburndale, the daughter of the late Frank and Clara (Brausch) Poeschel. She married Arthur Hirsch on Feb. 17, 1942, in Wausau. After 66 years of marriage he preceded her in death on July 23, 2008.

Lucille was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and baking, embroidering, and making quilts. She had a big vegetable garden and enjoyed working in her flower gardens. She liked music and loved to dance every chance she would get. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her grandchildren and family.

Survivors include; three sons, Richard (Patricia) Hirsch, Mosinee, David (Janice) Hirsch, Marshfield, and Carl (Denise) Hirsch, Mosinee; three daughters, Nancy (Bill) Engel, Stratford, Delores (Walt) Hauke, Mosinee, Betty (Alan) McHugh, Edgar; a son-in-law, Duane Hill, Stratford; 25 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren. Besides her husband Arthur, she was preceded in death by; two daughters, Audrey Hill and Mary Lou Andres; a grandson Dale Henchen; a great-grandson, Nathan McHugh; five sisters, Elsie Showmaker, Frances Johnson, Arlene Fox, Loraine Seitz and Marion Page; and seven brothers, Lawrence, Isadore, John, Albert, Norbert, Henry and Art Poeschel.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 2, 2018, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Halder. The Rev. Felix Tigoy will officiate. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Halder.
