Harry Leland Blevins, 81, passed away on January 26, 2014.
He was born in Paul Idaho on January 2, 1933.
Harry served in the United States Navy from 1950-1972 as an aviation machinist's mate. He served both in Korea and Vietnam. He retired as a Chief. He was a Life Member of the V.F.W. Post #1585 in Bellingham and held many positions on the Local, District & State level. He was also a Past Grand Commander of the Military Order of the Cooties, Past Seam Squirrel of MOC #18 and a member of the VVA.
He worked at Lee's Drive Inn from 1976-1994. He loved to travel to Jackpot, Nevada and enjoyed spending time at the Alger Bar and Grill as well as time spent at his post with his fellow veterans.
Harry was preceded in death his first wife Marion and his second wife Gen.
Harry will be remembered by many friends for his smile and his love of life.
There will be a Memorial/Celebration of Life on Saturday, February 22nd at 1:00pm at VFW Post 1585, in Bellingham. A second celebration will be held Tuesday, February 25th at 4:00pm at the Alger Community Hall.
