Robert was a member of the Edmond Road Baptist Church, Oklahoma State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors, BPO Elks, USA Winfield Kansas Lodge No. 752. He retired as an engineer for Solar Turbines in San Diego, CA and General Electric in Winfield, KS. Robert is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou Neher. Survivors include his son, Robert L. Neher Jr. and wife Carrie of Sacramento, CA; daughter, Barbara Arnold and husband Allen of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Victoria Campbell and husband Gary Jr., Devin Arnold, Robert Noe, Buzz Noe and Christine Clark; great-grandchildren, Myles Patrick Campbell, Angela Noe, Nicole Nardella, Erica Noe, Natasha Renes, Brandon and Tyler Clark; great-great-grandchildren are Mackenzie and Makaila. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2007 at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Edmond, OK.
