Rites Held Here
Reverend Richard Fisher conducted funeral services, from the United Methodist Church Tuesday, for Miss Anna Kubberness, 79, who died in a hospital in California the preseding Friday evening.
Mrs. Art Saha and Mrs. Hugh Maxwell furnished special music for the service.
Pall bearers were Maurice Crain, Dennis Glawe, Dick Crain, Lonnie Glawe, Dale Krahn and Mark Miedema. Internment was in the Arlington Cemetery.
The Johnson-Henry Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Life Sketch
Anna Kubberness, daughter of Frederick and Minnie Kubbernus was born July 8, 1890 in Picatonica, Illinois. As a young women, she came to South Dakota with her brother Fred, and settled in Kingsbury County where she has made her home in and around this community. At one time, she was owner of a milliney store in Arlington.
Miss Kubberness was a member of the Methodist Church and Order of the Eastern Star. She passed away Nov 22, 1969, at the home of her brother Charles, at Santa Rosa, California.
Surviving is a brother, Charles, Santa Rosa, California, and nieces and nephews. Her parents and three sisters and two brothers preceded her in death.
She was never married
