Jeffrey J. Honeyman
Jeffrey J. "Jeff" Honeyman, 40, of Lenexa, KS, died April 1, 2003, at his home. He was born January 24, 1963, at the Axtell Hospital at Axtell, Kansas, the son of Louis E. and Helen Boeckman Honeyman. He grew up where his family lived in Seneca, KS, graduated from Sts. Peter & Paul Grade School and Nemaha Valley High School in 1981. He was active in golf, bowling, and tennis during high school. He was employed at the Big B Grocery Store in Seneca for several years during and two years after high school. He moved to Kansas City where he was employed by UPS in the delivery and sorting departments. He was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Church in Seneca. He was a starting player on the Seneca American Legion Baseball Team during his eligible years. He was also a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Union, Local #41. Survivors are his mother, Helen Honeyman of Seneca; a sister, Vickie Pfannenstiel of Elkhorn, NE; five nephews, two nieces, a great niece; uncles, aunts, and many other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Louis E. Honeyman, Jr. on January 2, 1991. Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 A.M. Thursday, April 10, at Sts. Peter & Paul Church in Seneca. The burial will be in the church cemetery. The rosary will be prayed at the Lauer Funeral Home in Seneca on Wednesday at 2 and 7 P.M. Memorials may be given for Sts. Peter & Paul School and sent in care of the family.
