Rev. Albin Carson Geyer, aged 91, formerly of 701 Oak Street, Niles, a retired Methodist minister, died Tuesday in Toledo, O. The body will be brought to Niles, and friends may call in the Kiger funeral home Thursday evening. Services will be held in the First Methodist church at 2 p.m. Friday by Rev. L. George Beacock, the pastor. Surviving Rev. Mr. Geyer are the widow, Mrs. Arminta Smith Geyer; three daughters, Mrs. Martha G. Mustaine, of Albany, N.Y., Mrs. Gladys G. Megowen, of Toledo, and Mrs. Helen M. Maas, of Rockford, Ill., and two sisters, Mrs. Belle Cowgill, of Chauteau, Mont., and Mrs. Nora Reamer, of South Bend. Rev. Mr. Geyer was born in North Liberty, Ind., Nov. 1, 1859. He taught in the public schools in New Carlisle, Ind., from 1883 to 1890 when he entered the Methodist ministry. He had charges in Thorn Town, Ind., Lafayette, Ind., Las Vegas, N.M., and in numerous places in Illinois. He retired in 1929.
