Ethel E. Bump, 83, of Wareham, died Thursday, April 26, 2018 at her home after a long illness.
Born in Wareham, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Marjorie (Hammond) Tatlow. Mrs. Bump was the owner of Vel’s Restaurant in West Wareham for many years. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Wareham and volunteered for many church fairs over the years.
She is survived by her sons, Carl Bump of Plymouth, Steven Bump of Wareham, Brian Bump of Wareham, and Leslie Bump of NH; her daughter, Janice Monroe of FL; her siblings, Ervina Maki, Marjorie Mann, William Tatlow, Hal Tatlow, and David Tatlow. Also survived by 4 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, the late Ann Tatlow.
Her funeral service will be held at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway (Rt. 28), Wareham . Relatives and friends may visit prior to the service. Interment will follow in Long Neck Cemetery, Wareham MA
